Gifted people are often not
accepted socially because the general public
makes assumptions that they should know better.
Their minds are on a different level than
their awareness of the environment and their
bodies, sometimes there is a mismatch which
other people pick up on, due to affect or
posture or interpretations.
There are 7 areas of giftedness, so don't
think that Gifted means smart in everything.
In fact, many gifted people have huge discrepancies
in test scores between what is in their heads
and how they get it out on paper either by
writing or speaking.
Leadership is one area of giftedness which
requires environmental awareness. But even
those leaders who are visionaries and see
the big picture often need to be surrounded
by others to handle the details.
